Since July 2003 I am attached to the Apollo Hospitals group
as a full time Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon.
At the Apollo Speciality Hospital (formerly called as Apollo Cancer and Neuro Hospital), Nandanam, Chennai - 600035,
I am available for consultations between 11.00 am & 12.00 noon by appointment.
At the Apollo Hospitals, Greams lane - off Greams road - (also known as Apollo Main Hospital), Chennai - 600006, I am
available for consultations on Fridays between 9.00 am & 10.00 am by appointment.
At the Apollo Hospital, Tondiarpet, Chennai - 600081, I am available for consultations between 1.00 pm &
2.00 pm by appointment.
At the Apollo Children's Hospital, Shafi Mohammed road - off Greams road - Chennai - 600006, I am available for consultations
by appointment.
Consultations are also possible round the clock, 24x7, in
the emergency department of any of the Apollo group Hospitals in Chennai for acutely ill patients needing emergency
care.
At all the four Apollo group Hospitals in Chennai I take
emergency call duties - the only Neurosurgeon to do so among the almost 20 Neurosurgeons in Chennai Apollo Hospitals group!
There have been
occasions when I have admitted and operated/ managed patients at the Apollo First Med Hospitals, Poonamalle High road, Chennai.
In September 2004,
I was a visiting Neurosurgical Consultant at the KGS Apollo Hospital, Mysore, Karnataka for a short period when our chairman
Dr. Prathap C Reddy inaugurated the Cath Lab, CCU, CT OR and the CVTS department.
In 2009, Apollo Speciality Hospitals, Chennai introduced India's First and Asia
Pacific's most advanced CyberKnife ® Robotic Radio Surgery System, the world’s first and only robotic radiosurgery
system designed to treat tumors anywhere in the body with sub-millimeter accuracy. By June 2009 we had completed Cyber Knife
treatment for 50 patients.
